I think that, because of the ban on Xanga by the PRC, it would be a lot simpler to just find another site to host my blog.  If I find one, I will post it on my travel blog site, which is also mostly empty.

The Once and Future Blog--The book gets its name, of course, because Arthur is destined to come back one day.
And the Jedi, and the Hobbits, Aslan, Sir Orfeo, Buddha, Beowulf, World Peace, and all the rest of my dreams.  And freedom of speech and of the press in China.

Arthur, as an old man, in his tent on the eve of a battle.

ARTHUR: Thomas, my idea of those knights was a sort of candle, like the ones here.  I have carried it for many years with a hand to shield it from the wind.  It has flickered often.  I am giving you the candle now--you won't let it out?

THOMAS: It will burn.

----

You know what?  I started with Howard Zinn, I titled my blog after his phrase, I might as well end with him.  Hope doesn't have to be rational.  Just because something has never happened before doesn't mean it never will.

Every few months, I stare at an object and try to make it move with my mind.  None have yet.
